
De Nova Consulting's business is based on a networking model. It serves as a referral point to all related business fields of
consulting, training, counselling and mentoring. People who are part of this network share the same vision, beliefs and values
described. Thus training is outcome driven and based on adult learning principles, counselling is client-focused and results driven,
mentoring is specific needs orientated and client specific, consulting uses a partnering approach as oppose to the Expert Model
(where the consultant tells the client what to do), or the Resource Model (where the client tells the consultant what to do).
A Partnership Model (where client and consultant/coach/trainer are equal partners) is characterised by mutual respect and trust
in the competency of the other forms the foundation of all the networking partners. It is an attitude that leverages the
strengths of all the role players through joint decisions and shared objectives, thereby ensuring sustainable results.
The De Nova Consulting’s leadership team consists of three directors, namely:

De Nova Consulting believes that South Africa is the most exciting transformational place in the world today. A whole society has not
just transitioned into a democracy without any bloodshed but also created a people feeling responsible for making South Africa a better
place to live in, in spite of the social challenges of corruption, crime and violence. This environment, in our opinion provides a "primordial
soup" - a potential for the creation of a new consciousness that can spread into the continent of Africa.
One of the most powerful social structures in today's society is that of the corporation. American futurist and social commentator, John
Renesh says that "as people continue on their individual paths of self-actualisation, the enterprises, institutions, and companies where
human beings work will need to change dramatically. If they don't, the fate of these organizations is simple. The more conscious
people will leave these places and refuse to invest their energies if they are asked to co-opt their values… The companies and
institutions that will thrive - attracting the more conscious people who are committed to evolving spiritually will become "conscious
organizations" since they become committed to learning, growing and being more aware, more responsible, and more aligned with
their stated values".
De Nova Consulting believes that South African individuals have a strong need to make a difference. A large percentage of us work
within the corporate environment and as a powerful social structure, the corporation can provide a critical mass of people changing the
world into a better place. Imagine what will happen when these organisations of people, with high levels of emotional and spiritual

Retha has over 17 years experience in Change Management and has managed several large scale and
complex Change Management initiatives, including projects in the USA and Australia, mostly within the
mining and manufacturing industries. Retha is a strategic thinker and natural networker. Her passion is to
be part of the life journey of individuals who have a deep need to actualise their full potential. She is a
member of the international meta-coach foundation (see ethical guidelines) and the Health professions
council of South Africa.
• Werner Heindl - MA (Industrial Psychology), BA (Hons) Psychology, BA (Hons) Industrial Psychology,
Registered psychologist.
Werner has over 12 years’ experience in Change Management and has managed several large scale and
complex Change Management initiatives, including a Europe-based global implementation that spanned
across six continents. He has primarily consulted in the manufacturing, mining, consumer business and
telecommunications industries. Werner has also gained significant experience in organisation
development, organisation design, training, leadership development, psychometric assessment,
knowledge management and project management. He is an outstanding conceptualiser with excellent
problem-solving skills. Werner has a passion for developing people to independently achieve top results.
