Who We Are

Mariaan

  Having spent the past 15 years in the equine scene, representing South Africa twice in the world championship and being in six South African teams, made me aware of the effect horses have on people. I then studied equine therapy utilising therapy riding for three years, specialising specifically in emotional stimulation and stress release with persuasive success.  With horses as the medium to move people out of their comfort zone yet still feeling safe, creates an environment for dramatic transformation and enrichment, leading to new levels of awareness in the individual.

With a background as a homeopathic vet and having a deep love for horses, I bring sensitivity, intuitive healing, and my own empirical experience to create an  atmosphere of empathy, learning, creativity. With good facilitation skills in the animal–human connection, I will be fully present as you start your own journey of self discovery and growth, for in your healing comes mine.

I love being present when people discover how awesome they actually are. As a psychologist and coach I explored a myriad of roads to personal development and excellence. I’ve never before experienced as potent an intervention combining Equine work with the work of Byron Katie – in me, a deep and meaningful connection has happened with a resultant powerful internal shift.  My life path has now taken a dramatic turn towards creating a space for others to also experience this influential and compelling modality.

Where do we do business?

We are working at different sites in South Africa. Coaching sessions are conducted in Johannesburg.  Individual and group sessions are offered to individuals and corporates.

All coaching sessions include Equine work followed by a debriefing session with your coach to integrate the power of the session into your life.

For the retreats we move to the spectacular beautiful Midlands of Kwa-Zulu Natal where we work from a delightful old farm. It has natural streams, and forests, lovely big trees, and a huge dam at the top of the hill. It is certainly a magical place shared by a herd of Nooitgedacht ponies. A recently renovated old farm house is available for delegates to stay in.

 We regard personal mastery, where you do not hold yourself back for any reason and excel at being you, the reason why we are doing this work. We want to be part of your journey to becoming fully you...
